The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this status sassa reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
